Amy Beecher is a visual artist living between Providence and New York. She creates immersive installations, digital prints, and audio sculptures. In 2013 she founded a radio show focusing on discursive interviews with artists and cultural producers, Amy Beecher's Podcast! She is a contributor to Big Red & Shiny and to Art Handler Magazine. Beecher will be a fellow at the MacDowell Colony in the fall of 2016. In 2017 her work will be featured in Raid the Database IV, Rhode Island School of Design Museum and in a solo exhibition at GRIN, both in Providence, RI, and in The New Romantics, Sculptors of Botanical Photography, New Art Center, Newton, MA traveling to the Galleries at Moore, Philadelphia, PA.
